Those of you who have followed this blog for over a year may remember that we had the opportunity to travel to Michigan last summer to photograph my cousin Renee’s wedding, found here. Beth was one of Renee’s bridesmaids, and this summer, it’s her turn!
Over Easter weekend, we did Tyler and Beth’s engagement shoot. And, they were a DREAM. Beautiful inside and out, full of love for each other, and excited to get their photo made, I’d like to introduce my fabulous cousin, Beth, and her fiance, Tyler.
The first location they wanted to go was on a dirt road. Since I’ve moved to New York, I’ve realized that dirt roads are not commonplace. But, in central Michigan, they very much are. Along our drive that day, I’d been looking out the window at all of the stands of barren trees, thinking of how they could be used as a pretty cool background. Tyler and Beth let me experiment and I’m super happy with the results.
After that we went to a small town named Mecosta, where we found some great remote locations and beautiful light.
